A customer service representative interacts with a company’s customers to provide them with information to address inquiries regarding products and services. In addition, they deal with and help resolve any customer complaints.
Billing Specialist
Insurance billing and coding specialist, also known as a medical billing and coding specialist (MBCS), will act as an intermediary between a healthcare facility and the insurance companies. They'll be responsible for submitting paperwork to insurance companies for the purpose of seeking reimbursement for medical procedures performed. They have to be familiar with a variety of industry-standard coding systems, such as E-Codes, K-Codes, A-Code, L-Codes and ICD-10 diagnostic codes. These codes are often used in insurance claims submissions. MCBS may also have to contact the insurance companies before a patient receives medical treatments to ensure that the procedures are covered.
MCBS have to work with patients to correctly fill out paperwork, call doctors to verify that the proper procedures are submitted, and work directly with insurance representatives to ensure proper reimbursement. MCBS may also be expected to perform some basic clerical duties in the medical office, such as answering telephones, managing patient correspondence, and entering data into computers.

Warehouse and Delivery Technicians
Most equipment is delivered and used in hospitals and other medical facilities. Many patients receive long-term care at home. In a growing number of cases, the technician must deliver and install equipment into a private household. The process is similar to a hospital delivery. The patient's home might need modification to fit extra-large or extra-heavy equipment.
